Central Michigan 211 Service
If someone you know is in need of assistance, getting them some help is just a phone call away. By dialing 2-1-1, callers are connected with a call specialist who can discuss the caller's needs and give them the information and/or agencies they can contact for assistance. Some examples of referrals include rent and utility assistance, food pantries, shelter, support groups, health needs, substance abuse, clothing, housing, transportation and much more! Residents can also call if they are interested in volunteering in the community or would like to donate items.
This service is available 24/7, 365 days a year. Please note that dialing 2-1-1 is not yet available for cell and pay phone users. These callers can dial (866) 561-2500 and be connected toll-free to the service.
